Biopolymer Application Project
Development of compostable clips and raffia certified according to European standard UNE EN 134342 and international standards, for horticultural staking, mainly used in greenhouses, providing a solution to a highly concentrated environmental issue in the Almería, El Ejido area. The project is carried out in collaboration with the entire value chain: Novamont (producers of Mater-Bi compostable biopolymers), SICOR and Araymond (raffia and clip manufacturers), Bayer Crop Science (field testing), and Grupo Sach (compostability validation at a composting facility).
