Liderpack Awards celebrate their 20th edition at Equiplast
The Liderpack Awards 2025 ceremony took place on June 2 within the framework of Equiplast, bringing together more than 200 attendees. In this twentieth edition of the competition, the Best in Show recognitions were awarded ex aequo to the RetornA circular economy system by bonÀrea, for the return and reuse of chicken trays, and to the Minoric Gin bottle, designed by the agency Small*, in the packaging category. In the POS category, the jury recognised the sustainable, self-assembling Salsas Espinaler display, developed by Klingele Embalajes Iberia, as the best project.
Organised by the Spanish Packaging Association within Graphispack Asociación and the Hispack trade show of Fira de Barcelona, the Liderpack Awards have consolidated their position as a Spanish benchmark for the sector and serve as a gateway to the international WorldStar for Packaging Awards, promoted by the World Packaging Organization (WPO), where Spain ranks among the countries with the highest number of awards.
A total of 46 awards in packaging, 15 in POS and 18 in young design were presented during the event, in addition to three special Best in Show recognitions. Jordi Bernabeu, president of Hispack, highlighted that “the Liderpack Awards recognise a job well done, innovation and the development capacity of a sector firmly committed to sustainability and the circular economy.” Julio Verdún, president of the Spanish Packaging Association and of the jury, underlined the growth in participation throughout the history of the awards and their ability to strengthen the international projection of Spanish packaging year after year.
