Biography
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Sciences (Industrial Specialty) and PhD in Chemical Sciences (Chemical Engineering Program) from the University of the Basque Country.
Since 1998, he has been a researcher at the GAIKER Technology Centre, where he is Head of the “Recycling and Circular Economy” Area within the Composites and Polymers Department. He works on both in-house and industry-contracted R&D projects in activities such as environmental assessment, advanced separation and intelligent material identification, production and use of recycled plastics, and the development of chemical processes such as pyrolysis and solvolysis for the material recovery of polymer waste of all types and origins.
