The plastics sector is at a decisive moment. In recent years, the industry has lost competitiveness, production capacity, and global weight. However, with urgent regulatory measures, there is still time to reverse this trend and strengthen the sector’s position both in Spain and in Europe.

The session will address the impact of the regulatory framework on the competitiveness of the plastics sector, analyzing current European and national regulations and identifying the adjustments needed to attract investment, foster innovation, and strengthen industrial autonomy.
