Irene Mora

Biography

PhD in Chemical Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid, Master’s degree in Polymer Science and Technology from the CSIC, and a postgraduate degree in Public Affairs Management from the Pontifical University of Comillas ICADE.

For ten years, she worked at the Institute of Polymer Science and Technology of the CSIC, and since February 2013 she has developed her professional career in the field of public affairs, sustainability, and the circular economy, with a strong connection to the plastics industry. She currently holds the position of Head of Public Affairs and Sustainability at Plastics Europe for the Iberian region, where she works on promoting public policies related to sustainability, the circular economy, and sector competitiveness, as well as engaging with public administrations and participating in specialized forums and events.
