Biography

Cluster Manager of the Advanced Materials Cluster of Catalonia (MAV) since 2022, where she promotes collaboration between companies, research centers, and innovation ecosystems. With over 10 years of experience in innovation in the field of advanced materials, she has developed her career at Materfad and ICFO in areas such as applied research, technology transfer, and innovation management. She holds a degree in Industrial Design Engineering from ELISAVA and has specialized training in advanced materials and manufacturing, scientific communication, and Design Thinking.

The SINTEC project (Intersectoral Synergies for the Circular Economy) aims to analyze and activate opportunities for industrial symbiosis between the technical textiles, advanced materials, waste management, and packaging sectors, with a particular focus on the valorization of textile waste with high polymer content, characterized by material complexity, low recyclability, and limited reuse.

Through a methodology that combines waste flow analysis, identification of industrial needs, and intersectoral co-creation processes, the project identifies the potential of these residues as secondary raw materials for the development of new applications, especially in the field of packaging.
