Efficiency and Sustainability in Machinery and Processes

The transformation towards a circular economy begins at the heart of the factory. In this tour, we will visit leading machinery manufacturers that are redefining production standards.

During the visit, exhibitors will present their latest technological innovations designed to maximize energy efficiency, reduce carbon footprint, and optimize the processing of recycled materials. We will closely examine how innovation in injection, extrusion, and auxiliary processes not only improves profitability, but also enables cleaner, smarter production aligned with the new environmental challenges of the plastics industry.

From R&D&I to industrial production

Innovation is only truly transformative when it successfully makes the leap from the laboratory to the production line. In this exclusive tour, we connect the two pillars of industrial progress: advanced research and real transformation capabilities.

We will begin the tour with leading technology centers, which will reveal the most disruptive research lines they are currently working on. Afterwards, we will visit manufacturing companies that are already applying these advances to produce real-world solutions. These concrete industrial applications enable companies to become more competitive through innovative processes and products that are already making a difference in today’s market.

2026-06-05 12:30 2026-06-05 13:30 Europe/Madrid State of the art: Digital transformation in the plastics sector
Digital transformation in the plastics sector is advancing, driven by technologies that are already generating real impact on the factory floor.
This session will present two complementary approaches: on the one hand, the application of artificial intelligence in industrial environments by MAPEX, with use cases focused on improving productivity, quality, and data-driven decision-making, including intelligent assistants that interpret production data and propose actions. On the other hand, AR-Experts will present GIRI, an innovative tool for creating work instructions in enriched video format, particularly useful in complex processes such as those associated with injection machinery.
The session will provide a practical overview of the state of the art in digitalization applied to the sector.
